As Senem navigated the labyrinth of visa applications, residency requirements, and the cultural adjustments of relocating to Australia, she found herself in frequent conversations with fellow expatriates, new arrivals, and even those contemplating a move. The challenges they faced, and the questions they asked, highlighted a pressing need for expert migration assistance—something that was not always easily accessible.
Recognising her authentic desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, Senem bravely took a significant step forward. She embarked on a journey to study for a Graduate Diploma in Migration Law at Victoria University, successfully passing the Capstone exams, and became a Registered Migration Agent with MARA.
Thus, SMD Migration Solutions was born. The name itself is a tribute to Senem’s roots and her commitment to providing solutions that are both practical and compassionate. The "SMD" stands for Senem’s Melbourne Diary, linking back to the origins of her journey and her deep connection to the city that had become her home.

Hello! My name is Senem, and I am the proud founder and director of SMD Migration Solutions, a MARA-registered migration agency dedicated to guide you through every step of your journey to Australia with the empathy and expertise that come from my own experience of making this transition.
I currently hold a Graduate Diploma in Migration Law from Victoria University and am registered as a Migration Agent with the Migration Agent’s Registration Authority (MARA), proudly holding registration number 2318019.
My story begins in Turkiye, where I was born and raised. The adventure of moving to Australia was both exciting and challenging, and I understand firsthand the mix of emotions that come with starting anew in a different country. I’ve walked the path of navigating visas, settling into a new culture, and building a life from scratch—so I genuinely understand what you’re going through.
I am committed to ensuring a seamless and well-informed journey for individuals looking to live in Australia, drawing from my wealth of experience and insights gained from my years in Melbourne.
